Jason Adams wins month long jury trial against Anthem Blue Cross for wrongful denial of a liver transplant.

After less than two days of deliberations, the jury determined that Blue Cross breached its contract when it refused to cover a liver transplant needed by Domine Adams client Ephram Nehme. The jury also determined that Blue Cross acted in bad faith in denying the transplant. The Court adopted the jury's verdict in ruling that Blue Cross committed unfair business practices. Blue Cross was ordered to pay for the $206,000.00 cost of the transplant and all legal fees and costs incurred by Mr. Nehme.
